SP 6: Meat value chain

SP 6 will map the agro-pastoral meat value chain and identify critical points at which losses occur.

The aim is to improve meat processing, product development and marketing, for both the informal and formal sectors, and to improve marketing access for agro-pastoral producers via marketing associations. The potential of innovative marketing systems for reducing losses and increasing value of meat products will be tested and assessed.
